In connection with the commencement of the General Data Protection Regulation (the GPDR) the focus on personal data according to law has increased. The GPDR was effective from May 2018 and caused sharpened obligations to everybody dealing with personal data. At the same time, the regulation introduced a considerably increased level of fines.

It may seem difficult to adopt the rules in a practical daily life, and if a company needs to adapt to the new rules, it might be an impossible process.
